Gather your ingredients.
Place flour in a large bowl.
Add baking powder.
Mix in sugar.
Add your cheese to dry mixture and stir to combine.
Whisk milk and butter in small bowl.
Add egg to mixture and whisk.
Add the mixture to the dry ingredients.
Stir mixture to together. It's supposed to be thick and sticky.
Butter your muffin pan liberally to make sure it doesn't stick.
Spoon in batter. Make sure you have enough so that it fits equally in all 12 cups of the muffin pan.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Bake your muffins for 20-25 minutes.
Let cool and enjoy!
